What a FUN panel. Every body from a past PEC chair to a newbie to judging. I really enjoyed the balance. We also found a new friend, Paul Rogers. Nancy and I are convinced he will act like he doesn't know us the next time he sees us!! LOL!
We got to hang out with Roland, he was the JC for print judging. We missed Helen A LOT. Helen feel BETTER soon!!!
It was so much fun judging with Nancy Green at her FIRST judging as an affiliate. Nancy is the latest on the NE list! Congrats Nancy, you worked EXTRA hard for this!!
After all the hard work of judging each judge gets to place a judges choice ribbon on ONE print. It certainly is my favorite part, yet a difficult decision. Many times when you judge there is one print that we may have not even talked about during the judging but it is the one that stays with you. That is "A Piece of My Heart" by Julie Gerace. The print that did it to me. I look forward to Julie reworking this print and entering it at PPANE 09!!
